The new project of the terrible child of French reggae !
The numerous travels of Pierpoljak in Jamaica have marked his music forever. It is imbued with this know-how and detached from the show business overbidding that he brings back to the forefront the music he has always defended and from which he has always been inspired, what he knows how to do best: Reggae-Music.
He won a music award in 2001, went platinum with Kingston Karma and won several gold records. He marked a generation with "Je Sais Pas Jouer" and his many songs straight out of the famous Jamaican Tuff Gong studios. But it is above all on stage that, throughout his career, he has developed his art by spreading his songs with a positive melancholy, his message of freedom.

When, on April 10, 2017, the door of his cell closes on him, Pierpoljak doesn't know yet when and how his next album will be released, but he already knows that the title will be this enigmatic phrase written on the wall : La roue tourne igo. The first thing he sees that day will become a leitmotiv for him to hold on to.
Three years later, this new album is here : a chiseled writing on modern Reggae instrumentals and melodies of which only he has the secret.
In 11 singles, Pierpoljak gives us intimate thoughts inspired by these few months in the shade and by life more generally. As usual, he also poses as a fine analyst of our current society ... As for example "Trash com" or he evokes the animal suffering in slaughterhouses, or "Clarks at the feet", with Daddy Mory as a guest, a potential hit that pays homage to the iconic shoe of Jamaican Reggae.
